Who I am in Christ!

I am the salt of the earth (Matt.5:13)
I am the light of the world (Matt 5:14)
I am a child of God (John 1:12)
I am part of the true vine, a channel of Christ’s life (John 15:1,5)
I am Christ’s friend (John 15:15)
I am chosen and appointed by Christ to bear His fruit (John 15:16)
I am a slave of righteousness (Romans 6:18)
I am enslaved to God (Romans 6:22)
I am a son of God; God is spiritually my Father (Rom. 8:14,15; Gal. 3:26, 4:6)
I am a joint heir with Christ, sharing His inheritance with Him (Rom. 8:17)

I am a temple ‐‐ a dwelling place ‐‐ of God. His Spirit and His life dwell in me (1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19)
I am united to the Lord and am one spirit with Him (1 Cor. 6:17)
I am a member of Christ’s body (1 Cor. 12:27; Eph. 5:30)
I am a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17)
I am reconciled to God and am a minister of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18, 19)

Keys to Success in the Christian Life

I will not say “I can’t,” because the Bible says I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength (Phil 4:13)
I will lack nothing, because God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19)
I will not fear, because God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7)
I will not lack faith to fulfill my calling, because God has allotted to me a measure of faith (Rom. 12:3)
I will not be weak, because the Lord is the strength of my life; I will display strength and take action because I know God (Psalm 27:1; Daniel 11:32)
I will not allow Satan to have supremacy over my life, because He that is in me (the Holy Spirit) is greater than he that is in the world (Satan) (1 John 4:4)
I will not accept defeat, because God always leads me in triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)
I will not lack wisdom, because Christ became wisdom to me from God, and God gives wisdom to me generously when I ask Him (1 Cor. 1:30; James 1:5)
I will not be depressed, because I recall to mind God’s lovingkindness, compassion and faithfulness and have hope (Lam. 3:21‐23)
I will not worry and fret because I can cast all my anxiety on Christ Who cares for me (1 Peter 5:7)

I will never be in bondage knowing that there is liberty where the Spirit of the Lord is (Gal. 5:1)
I will not feel condemned because the Bible says I am not condemned because I am in Christ (Rom. 8:1)
I will never feel alone because Jesus said He is with me always and He will never leave me or forsake me (Matt. 28:20; Heb. 13:5)
I will never feel accursed or that I am the victim of bad luck because the Bible says that Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law that I might receive His Spirit (Gal. 3:13,14)
I will not be discontented because I, like Paul, can learn to be content in all my circumstances ( Phil. 4:11)
I will never feel worthless because I know that Christ became sin on my behalf, that I might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Cor. 5:21)
I will not have a persecution complex, knowing that nobody can be against me when God is for me (Rom. 8:31)
I will not be confused, because God is the author of peace and He gives me knowledge through His indwelling Spirit (1 Cor. 14:33; 2:12)
I will not feel like a failure because I am a conqueror in all things through Christ (Rom. 8:37)
I will not let the pressures of life bother me because I can take courage knowing that Jesus has
overcome the world and its tribulations (John 16:33)
